Could you do me the favor, to install ihre actual driver on a PC/Mac and Check within for a Firmwareupdate?
Maybe that's the reason why it crackles and pops.
A Friends of mine wants to get a iPad 2, and it would be a shame, if it aint workign how it should on an iPad 2 ...

But it is not enough to have a Komplete Audio 6 to use with Traktor IPAD?

I also have to buy a powered hub to make this works fine?

Will dosa you want me to install KA6 drivers on my pc then check on my NI acount for any new updates?also tonight going friend of main to try again on hus dj setup. We going to do it thru active speakers then thrue his mixer. Maybe this will work let you know later

I will use with IPAD 3. I still do not have the komplete audio 6. I will buy it.

Yes you will need powered hub mate. Othervise you will not be ablle to set up outputs in the traktor dj app. Soon as you plug powered hub to soundcard traktor dj give you extra option- audio setup then you can choose channels dont know why doesnt work with my ipad 2. Tryed everything even tonight on my friends dj setup and still have a crrapy sound. Sending back KA6 tomorrow;( please let me know how you goes with yours

You could use teaktor audio6 insted of komplete audio 6. TA6 doesnt requaied powered hub because is powered by main.KA6 not. Been looking on web to get TA6 sound card but is out off stock everwhere 198£, but you could get TA6 scrach but is 245£ . This is same card + 2 vinyl + software. Think NI dont produce just TA6( only sound card) any more;(

I will get my soundcard in April when I will stay in Italy (I am from Brazil).

So, I think the best way to do is buy a TA6 that no need powered hub.

Yes. You need AC powered usb hube between ipad camera kit and KA6.

well, i don't want to sound like a dick, but here is a thread, in which we discuss other soundinterfaces.

btw: Wanna keep you updated, bout my odysee to use the KA6 including the Charging of the iPad.

the hub I ordered (that crappy 9€ "Elektroschrott" - sorry, can't find another word in english to describe it better...) was a piece of $h1+ and doesn't even do anything.
Since miniinthebox.com takes 7-21 days to deliver (grml) it could also take a week or two till its arraival....
But: that delock Y-USB-Cable adapter got delivered and works like a charm. the red end is plugged to the iPhone AC-Adapter (or something similar) and delivers enough power to the KA6. now i have to play the waiting game ...

Sure, allready tested this with my Monitoringsystem. Just plug the 1/4" jacks into the KA6 and the RCA into your home Stereo - Off you go

Just turn both Systems down, since the KA6 delivers a lot of amplitude

even if you ain't kiddin' - it should work. Can't see why it won't.

 

I am picking up a DN-X1600 this week. Haven't heard whether Mixers with built in interfaces will work, like Pioneer's DJM-T1 and DJM-850 and 900 as well as NI's Z2 or the DN-x1600 and 1700. I have some great ideas in mind! Hope this works!
