Komplete Classics - just 2 of 4 plugins activates

    I just installed Komplete Classics (for intel mac), and have tried to activate it several times now.

    The following are activated: Komplete Classics bundle, B4II and Pro-54.
    These won't activate: Akoustik Piano and Elektrik Piano

    In the Service Center they are labelled red with "Not activated", and the serial number and activation code are blank. I tried to type in the bundle serial, but still no luck.

    I then deleted all preference files and the Service Center application, and tried a fresh install. Also the Leopard install patch. Of course I tried activation with the latest version of Service Center. After, I tried a fresh install of the Komplete Classics bundle. Still no luck.

    So, the Akoustik Piano and Elektrik Piano won't work for longer than 30 mins, neither as plugins or in stand-alone mode.

    Do any of you have any idea what could be wrong? I have posted a ticket to support, but still no answer.

    I have also tried activating after turning off Time Capsule. I've read somwhere else that this could cause some problems.

    Still I haven't figured this one out yet...

    Hi Jyhad,

    you should have received two emails Yesterday. In one email the supporter put in the serial numbers you need. Did this help?

    Reinstaling Service Center according the instructions did not help at all. But using the serial numbers and creating activation request file (html) that redirected to a web site helped to do the activation a bit more complex route.

    Everything works now. Thanks again!

    I have the exactly same problem.

    But in my Service Center only Pro S3 ist activtated.

    Electric Piano, B4 and Akoustic Piano cannot be activated.

    I have also posted a ticket to support, but still no answer.

    Do i have to write the ticket in english ?

    I'm from germany and the ticket form was in german, is that the problem ?

    Yes, thanks.

    My problems have been solved.

    I called Berlin NI Support and they gave me the Serial Numbers of each product included in the Komplete Classics bundle.

    I've just bought Komplete Classics and both Akoustik Piano and Elektrik Piano won't activate! Spit, damn, and bother!

    Can anyone from NI help, please?

    Add me to the number of those users of Komplete Classics who can't get the activation for Akoustik Piano and Elektrik Piano to work. Doing a clean install of the latest version of Service Center didn't help.

    I opened a ticket (#2008120210004419) from the NI tech support form a couple days ago, no reply so far. Any feedback on this issue? Marius? Anybody @ NI?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

    I had the same problem.

    The fastest solution is to call directly the NI Support.
    (You will find the phone number on the NI Page / Contact.)

    They will give you the SNs for the different products.

    The E-Mail Support Reply will take a few days to weeks.

    Thank you for your suggestion; I was going to give it another day to see if I would get an official reply without having to resort to an international phone call, then a few minutes ago I received the correct serial numbers via email, thanks to Matthias of tech support.

    I hope that my SNs are at home when I get there! I really want to get using the Akoustik Piano. That 13gig install took frickin' ages...

    Same problem

    My PC Desktop Activatation went well.

    But My Laptop (Apple MBP) I can only activate Pro53 & B4. Akoustik/Electrik does not work.

    Now Komplete Classic is all in one activation right. is there another way to activate it one by one?

    Not sure if this can be done, you'd still need someone from tech support to send you the individual serial numbers for the four apps, since the bundle SN you found in the package alone just won't do.

    Service Center -> Overview,

    For each application still marked in red (typically, AP and EP), click on the 'Show details' button. This is where you'll enter the missing serial numbers by clicking on 'Edit', then typing in the appropriate sequence of numbers, then finally clicking on 'OK'. Once you're all done, you can go back to the 'Activate' tab and run the activation for Komplete Classics again, which at this point should go through flawlessly.

    At least, this is how it worked for me.

    EDIT: Make sure you have the latest version of Service Center, this post helped me running a clean install:

    A Way around

    While I am waiting for a new SN.. I would like to share a "trick" that seem to work.. perhaps not a permanent one. When you launch the non-activated VIs - it will prompt you to activate. Click Activate and go back to your Host apps.. Logic/ProTools and your Vis should work. Leave the Service Center running in back ground

    I can use the Instrument.. as..long as you want not just 30 minutes

    Well, I emailed last Wednesday (after hours) so there was Thursday & Friday. The guys don't work weekends (fair enough) and now it's Monday. I guess I'll leave it until this Wednesday coming and then contact them again.

    I'm hoping that the time in Berlin is actually an hour behind us in the UK, so that when I get home from work at 6pm (GMT) it'll still be 5pm in Berlin and I can phone up! If not, I'm waiting on the whim of an email... *sob*
