Komplete Elements not showing up in Maschine Browser

Sorry if I bring this up again but can't seem to find it (resolved at least). Feel free to flame me if i repeat something I should not!

BUT.. I cannot get Maschine soft to display the Komplete elements (and mouth) in the Maschine browser. I scanned, added paths to settings, rescanned, deleted the xpi files that keep the plugins but to no avail.

Is there a sure-fire method to make Komplete Elements' instruments appear in the Maschine browser? The guy at the video has them there, Only I don't!

(see attachment after installation of komplete elements, opening them all BEFORE firing up maschine, putting plugin paths, user paths to point to every conceivable directory that may work and restarting everything quite a few times. )

Well, I was hoping someone would actually share some information instead of increasing his post number.

If the sounds do not appear in this area, go to the MASCHINE Preferences and open the tab User Paths. Click the button Rescan. When the scanning process is finished, open the tab Libraries and click Rescan again. When the scanning process is finished, click OK to close the Preferences.

I tried that too! (I check the knowledge base before asking here

But it didn't work out.

When I go to the libraries tab, only the maschine lib is there. nothing more. And I cant seem to be able to add anything manually.

Anyway, I am thinking of reinstalling the whole shebang but would like your opinions if i should first install Kontakt elements and the Mouth, and then the Maschine software or vice versa.

Looking around, I found something about a Komplete Elements mkII which supposedly works correctly with Maschine.

Does anybody know anything about ?

Is that the already applied update maybe ?

 

Now for the weird $h17:

I downloaded kontakt player 5 (elements include 4.2) and the free factory selection. I also have retro machines and installed them there.

Everything shows up on kontakt 5 (both elements, factory selection and the retro machines and the abbey road drums that are included in elements (picture 1))

BUT THEY DO NOT show up on maschine browser (pic 2)

Same goes for reaktor. Standalone reaktor shows everything from external products (the mouth and the factory selection and the komplete elements bundle). pic 3

But inside Maschine browser, only the non-elements show up. pic 2 again

Anyone with a solution ?

you can be sure I tried scanning everything, everywhere so no repeat of those steps needed.

 

Maybe we need Kontakt 5 libraries for the Komplete Elements ? Is there a way to convert Kontakt 4 libs to Kontakt 5?

 

I wish somone knew the answer. I did notice when machine initializes under status it shows the plugins being scanned but the plugins still do not show in the browser.

I too have the exact same issue. I reinstalled both machine and elements and I did it cleanly by hunting down every file with a 3rd party uninstaller. I even upgraded to OSX Lion and reinstalled everything again but still no luck. Wrekij, akorbeti, if you find the answer please let me know. By the way... I contacted NI support over a week ago but haven't heard a peep, I'll let you know if they reply.

 

I've had my Maschine a few weeks and I'm in the same boat.

 

It seems that the guys in this thread: http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150665 found a way out!

The mkII download I mentioned above, really does exist.

Good people of NI could you please let us too DM you to get the download link!

 

You've got to wonder why NI haven't made this a download yet.

 

Ok... so I just got a reply to my support ticket. It says "You should have received an e-mail with download link and serial number for Komplete Elements Mk2".
Of course I never received the aforementioned email, so I replied and asked for another. I think I'll open a new support ticket as well, I'll keep you posted.

 

I have exactly the same problem and no matter how well I explain the problem to the tech support guy all he does is that he keeps telling me to rescan!:angry:

 

Well, i called them (way better than to email them) and explained that I've never received an email with the mark two mkII version of complete elements and they just sent me a download link email.

I downloaded it, installed it over the old one and:


TADAAAAAAA

So, if you want to solve your problem CALL THEM and tell them that you haven't received the mkII email. They will send it to you within the same day!

 

Still seems strange they didn't just make this an automatic update for all Elements owners.....

Yep MKII solved the problem for me. Should have read the email properly when it arrived!
