Komplete & Komplete Ultimate Experience & Value

Trying to figure out if my older purchase of Komplete 8 Ultimate has any value; for example, has anyone ever discovered how to freshly install Komplete 8 Ultimate on an Mac 10.7.5 computer and get it to work?

I'm just wondering, since the release of Native Access, and the disabling of Service Center for new/old installations, has anyone found a common "re-sale/transfer" value for what was once an extremely expensive purchase?

 

Service center still works for old software.

 

Wrong. Believe me, I wish you were right! as Native has stated, "please install the latest version 'Service Center 2.6.0', since older versions cannot connect to the internet." "Service Center 2.6.0" is for 10.8 and higher, eliminating anyone who wants to sell or install on/for earlier OS versions.

Back to the original question, anyone?

 

You can still use Komplete 8 Ultimate on a recent OS as most of the instruments are still available today. Someone after some of those instruments or even simply use the license to update to Komplete 12 Ultimate could easily find value into K8U.

 

I updated from 8 to 10 ... which was best solution. So, in theory you could do that ... or, if you already bought a new license, it might be possible to sell the old license for somebody running a more modern OS like El Capitan or Sierra.
