Hey guys, I'm using Logic Pro X 10.2

I did the update, now whenever I load an instance of KK, I get the following "loading issue. Could not load Plug-in".

I updated everything on Service Center, which is where I also updated to KK 1.5. Is there a driver or something else I forgot to download from the NI website? I'm a little lost on what to do, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I've heard some people say it has to do with re-mapping some folders and re scanning or something, but I'm not entirely sure and also don't know really how to go about that.

    Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks for the reply! Didn't I already do this when I ran the update through Service Center? How exactly do I run the update again in standalone mode?

you find the Application. on a Mac it is in the Native Instruments folder in the Macs Application folder.

updating just installs, it does not run the Application in Standalone Mode.

Ok, so just run the KK application in standalone and then it should fix it? After this then try to load an instance inside Logic Pro?

Same issue here. Before the update to Kontrol 1.5.x, everything worked fine.
Today, after updating to the latest Komplete Kontrol version (incl. updating some plugins via Service Center), I only receive "Could not load Plug-in" for all Komplete plugins. They work fine on their own.

Running Komplete Kontrol in Standalone mode does not help either.
I get the exact same error message there.

Sadly, this is not encouraging. Was about to purchase the Kontrol S61 Keyboard today, but now I must postpone everything :-(

Okay - maybe this is of help to somebody.

    Here is what I did:
    - deinstalled Komplete Control using "CleanMyMac"
    - deleted all Komplete Control related remaining files via Finder incl. the Komplete Control plugin inside the /components folder
    - download the "Kompete_Kontrol_101_mac.dmg" from NI plus all the subsequent updaters
    - installed the original 1.0.1 version and launched it in standalone mode
    - then I did the same with all subsequent installers one by one (installing plus launching in Standalone mode)

Finally, all seems to work now. However I should mention that the included scan system did freeze on a few occasions while scanning plugins. This, however, was not an issue.

    Cheers
    Tom

I had the same issue after 1.5 update (and I did run it in stand alone mode first). I went into preferences in the plugin and hit rescan under the plugins tab, then everything worked again. For some reason it had lost all the plugin info after the update.

Are you just referring to the NI plugins because it didn't scan any other plugins before the 1.5 update? I think it's expected that it should run a complete plugin scan before loading plugins after the update. It's also not abnormal in any host for plugin scans to freeze or even crash a few times while scanning, that's part of the process of weeding out plugins that are buggy or not particularly compatible with the host which is what a plugin scan is for essentially.

Yes, but how helpful is it when you get repeated crashes while Komplete Kontrol is scanning — but then it doesn't tell you which plug-ins actually *caused* the KK scan to crash? (This, despite the fact that ALL plug-ins pass repeated scans by my host, DP9.)

Hint: It's not helpful at all.

    KK only uses VST plugins.

as far as i know, DP only uses AU.

correct me if i am wrong.

You're wrong. DP uses VST and AU plug-ins.
