Why can't M32 be loaded with user templates?

In MIDI mode, when connected to an iPad for example, the MK32 can only operate in "MIDI Mode". But why does it always default to "Template 1" with CCs on MIDI channel 1? Despite having set up multiple templates in Komplete Kontrol? This limitation is incredibly annoying. Is there a way to configure this MIDI Mode, as with other MIDI controllers such as Korg's nanoKONTROL2 (at a lower price point than the MK32)?

It’s because the templates you created with KK are stored on a file on the computer, not internally on the KB. There would need to be KK software for IOS in order for templates to be retained.
