    Hi all.

So, I've run into a problem in which the mod strip on my Kontrol S49 1st gen seems to be stuck in "pitch mode", in that it latches on to the center value, and returns there when I try to change the value.
This problem only occurs when I actually launch Komplete Kontrol, and not when operating in MIDI mode. Launching other NI products or plugins doesn't seem to have this adverse effect.

Probably you have the touchstrip setup in the KK software to be a "spring" :

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. I can't remember changing this value, but there it is. Working perfectly now, thanks a bunch!

Just changes the behaviour of the mod strip depending on what type of automation you want to do.

Not to forget that it's possible (in some DAWs anyway) to use the mod wheel (strip) to create some automation then apply that to whatever you like. May be some cases (think panning) where you want to move the signal from the centre mark but have it return when you release (like the pitch wheel)
