    Hi there,
I've been having issues after moving my Native Instrument folders to a different hard drive. I followed the guides on Native Instruments help forums on how to move folders and ran into some issues. The standalone Komplete Kontrol application works fine and rescans the new directories perfectly. It is only when I launch Komplete Kontrol in FL Studio that I get the error " Loading Issue, Plugin not found. Please open the standalone application to rescan, or rescan manually in the plugin preferences." when trying to load an instrument. I have gone down a lot of rabbit holes and tried a bunch of different fixes I have found on this website and others. I have reinstalled Komplete Kontrol and triple checked that I have the right directories and installation paths, I have deleted the appdata information and rescanned multiple times on the standalone.
I am just really confused why it would work in standalone and not inside of a DAW.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Thank you!

    OS?

Did you open Komplete Kontrol (standalone) and go into the Plugins tab and change the paths (if you moved the actual plugins to external drive).

FYI: It is normally recommended to NOT move your actual plugins to an external drive but to move only your content (sample and library data) to a different drive. The plugins do not typically require much space, the libraries do and almost every installer will allow you to set content location separate from plugin location.

    Hello!
I'm on windows 10 and I did change all the paths. And I am definitely regretting moving everything. My SSD was getting full and I decided it be best to move everything to another drive instead of just part of it. Do you think I should try rerouting it back to the main Program Files VST folder and uninstalling and reinstalling? or would this complicate it furhter. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it!

Well first thing is, where have you set your VST2 64bit folder? Are all your VST plugins in the same location (not referring to the content, the actual VST .dll files.)?

Show a screenshot of this location showing the dll files.

Then a screenshot of your VST location setting in KK.

Also, specifically, which instruments do not load? Are they Kontakt Instruments/Libraries? If so, make sure that you are scanning the VST3 path (C:\\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) or Kontakt will generate that error as the VST3 version is loaded by default when opening from NKS presets. If you moved the VST3 Folder (not recommended as that seems to be the industry standard path for VST3 on Win) then make sure the new location is getting scanned.
