I raised this a year or so ago but gave up on it because I didn't think it was possible. Anyway, apologies for coming back to it again.

I would like to see Komplete Kontrol reacting to midi messages coming from a DAW - for me, thats where its usefulness would ramp up dramatically.

For example, if I were to click on a track in Cubase (or any other DAW), I'd like to see my S88 switch to a template for that track. Where they don't exist, I don't mind building those templates. Controller Editor has most of the functionality I would need. If mapping is involved (which it surely must be), then that's just part of the template process, too.

Komplete Kontrol is listed as a device within Cubase but, to be honest, the degree of integration within Cubase is very limited. This would take it to a different level.

I am currently working my way through programming Lemur to do exactly this (see this series of videos)

However, it occurs to me that using an iPad off to one side is a poor substitute for having a specialised hardware controller right in front of you.

It also occurs to me that if Lemur can do it, it obviously IS possible.
