Right after the plugin scan appears the runtime error R6034. This happens several times while the program is loading. It seems that cause the S61 is not working properly. That means:

Lightguide is not working. ( All lights are always blue )
    Controller are not working.
Touch strips and sustain pedal are not working.

Just for one time lightguide and knobs were working. Using the knobs cause the S61 to crash. It goes back to factory mode.

I can play in Kontakt, but that's all i can do. Lightguide and controller are still in Factory mode. So you can adjust nothing.

To this day it was not possible to use the S61 or any NI Plugin in Studio One. This may be another issue. I have no experience so far with Studio One.

I tried to solve the R6034 problem with almost 10 different ways. No success.

I wrote a support ticket to NI 15 days ago.
To this day i received no answer.

After 8 days i wrote another ticket. Between this two tickets the ID number climbed to a incredible amount of more than 7000 new tickets in just 8 days.

Does that mean i will get maybe an answer next year?
I have more than 2000 € already invested. And a Maschine MK2 is also on his way to me.

I am very disapointed and frustrated.
    Any ideas?

    Sumbion7,
I share your pain, haven't gotten my S88 working yet (two and half weeks now), but made some progress

It might be useful to indicate the following info:

    - PC/Mac, OS version
    - Firmware version S61
    - Kontrol Driver version (if PC)

Stupid question maybe, but how did you manage to create a ticket with NI? I couldn't find where to do that.

    Hi PushPull,

i'm running the latest firmware version and KK 1.71 on WIN7.
    It's not a stupid question :)
    Actually not easy to find.

Go to the main NI website:
    1. You must be logged in ( not here in the forum )
    2. Top Menu - Support
    3. Then click on KOMPLETE Support
    4. You should see now something like a FAQ.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. There should be a button " Contact support "

So, I got as far as you indicated before. I log in go thtough the screens you mention and click on Contact support. Instead of bringing me to the support page it goes back to the login screen. I login - again - go through the menus, click on Contact support and get thrown back to the login screen. I can never get to support... :(

I have limited success myself with Komplete Kontrol, but here's my two cents worth.
    Sorry to have to ask, but ;
    - Have you verified that the firmware of the S61 is 69 (or higher)?
    - Did you try to uninstall Complete Kontrol, drivers and reinstalled them again?
    - Did you check the tech support pages of NI for possible info/solutions?

I cannot remember what number it was, but it was the latest available firmware version.
And yes, i really tried everything. Still the same issues.
I deactivated also firewall and anti virus software during install process.
Several reboots and so much more... :(

This is the link i get from the "contact support"
    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/de/requests/new

The "de" indicates i am from Germany. Maybe it works also for you.
Do you get the same link except the "de" ?

    Hi,

Just checking something ,when you installed the drivers did you have your keyboard connected to your pc ?

I remember reading somewhere that when you install your drivers you should not have your device connected so its maybe worth uninstalling your drivers, rebooting the pc, then reinstalling the drivers again but making sure you dont have your keyboard connected when you install them.

Not sure if this will help but its worth a try.

    Drivers can be found here:

    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other-files/

    And it's the :

KOMPLETE KONTROL Driver 4.2.0 - Windows 7 and above Driver you are wanting.

    Hi Symbion,

Tried the link but the same thing happens - I see the page for a second before being asked to log in - but I was already logged in. Annoying.

Today Native Instruments contacted me. It turned out i was not able to fix the problem by myself. Native Instruments suggested a teamview session which was succesful. Everything works now. But we could not really find out what caused the problems. Maybe a software like tuneup or something simililar. Several files in the registry were missing. The friendly guy from the support team fixed it all manually in the register editor. Everybody who got the same problem should suggest a teamview session. Because a average user would never get fixed that by himself.

After all i am really happy now, but also kinda of sad that i am not able to tell you guys how you could fix it by yourself.

Great that you got it sorted and can now use your keyboard as you intended.

Its a shame you had to go through all that trouble and worry but it's good that NI got it sorted for you.

Hopefully they will fix the installer and/or drivers so others dont have to go through the same process to get their keyboards working too as it shouldnt have to be so difficult.

Have fun and enjoy using it !
