Solved KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series Keyboard Is Not Recognized after Updating Windows 10

Well, this is why I delayed it...

Anyway I doesn't seem the same problem as some time ago. The first issue was about interrupting every communication with the keyboard from the driver so you was not be able to configure it from the editor and you could only use it as a simple standard midi controller.

Have you tried to configure it from the editor? Does it have the same behavior as before?

With the last update Microsoft touched something about midi ports I think so maybe this is why you are experiencing this issue. Try to reinstall the driver and KK.

However from now on I'll update Windows 10 only as extrema ratio.

Need to post some logical steps rather than venting, nothing can be solved without some details of what you have and have not tried.

So is the issue that things do not work in Cubase or "at all"? For instance, if you load up Komplete Kontrol does everything work fine there? If so, Windows/updates aren't the issue,. it's more Cubase or something. If not, are the following services running on your system:

 

Hi, does this work yet? I rolled back the update in the end to get it working but like to keep win 10 with latest version for security

Reason 10 cant t find the komplete kontrol 49S MKII aswell… cant use the keyboard after the update ….help ?? is searched fort help topic said go to this page and this is what i get :

So you have opened Komplete Kontrol standalone and your keyboard doesn't work?
You have checked all these services posted above are running?:


You have tried to uninstall Komplete Kontrol and reinstall it and the drivers again?
