Komplete Kontrol s61 Not Working Correctly in Maschine. Only works in Arp mode?

I have been around since the first Machine and was excited for my new KK S61 to run with my Machine Mikro. I'm running Machine 2 on Mac 10.10.5. Recently updated to a SSD which I have made sure all directories are working in Service Center and in Preferences. All Midi In's are switched on for KK S61

When I open Machine 2 in Standalone and load up an instrument either from the KK S61 browser or from my mouse, the instrument loads up nicely and is playable via the Machine pad. The notes light up on the keyboard in the correct color and middle C lights up when I hit the pad but playing the keys does not work.

Interestingly enough, when I hit the ARP function, the keys play. Also when I load a drum kit and then browse an instrument with say a snare selected, I am able to use the keyboard. But then I start a new group and try to load an instrument nothing plays on the keys.

What gives? Everything is up to date, It is just not being consistent at all.

Any ideas?
