Ok where to start? I bought s49 s61 keyboards cos I love them and also have a Nektar 88+ anyways besides that have Kontakt Kontrol and vsts installed running windows 10x64 using mainly studio one so 32 bit vst apps plugins etc is not important spent small fortune upgrading computer

    My computer config
    Vst3x64 v:\vst3 64
    Vst3x32 v:\vst3 32
    Vst2x62 v:\vst2 64
Kontakt LIbrary k:\Kontakt Library (authorised ones)
    Kontakt Unauthorised u:\kontakt unauthorised
Sound library samples and presets s:\Sound Banks
loads of other bits in public/my docs program files/data etc

    Problem
Kontakt works fine all libraries work as intended.
Kontrol - Kontakt libraries in left panel; browser error loading not found unless I open Kontakt first and then open Libraries
looks like most if not all vsts work

Question??? Kontrol preferences where should they point to?

    Application Location c:\program files\native instruments
    Content Library c:\user\documents
    vst 64 location v:\vst3 64

Question?? what is Kontrol looking for when it says content location? I have content all over the place cos thats how STUPID installing music apps are. I have split my kontakt libraries into 2 parts I have content in public docs my own docs etc etc etc

I have renamed/moved my Kontakt distribution folders about and relocated inside Kontakt that worked fine guess this has caused issue with Kontrol? done numerous rescans no different. DO I need to delete my appdata\local\NI\Komplete Kontrol folder content and restart Kontrol?

what content location settings should I use? is this for vst plugins kontakt library etc? I have spent hundreds of hours trying to sort out files folders naming conventions does Kontrol wants everything thrown into single folders? What if Kontakt libraries are on multiple drives? like mine

vsts load in all over the damn place yes u can control or move the dll vst3 files but not always the standalone exe or banks\presets

thats why I call myself useless, useless old fart

    FIXED

I have both my old Kontakt 5.8.1 and 6.22 installed. Native Access was looking in the folder v:\VST3 64 where the 5.8.1 dlls are and not the sub folder v:\vst3 64\Native Instruments where I have all the main updated Native dlls.

I install my vsts into specific folders v:\vst3 64\%distributor name% cos its easier to sort them and deal with issues\installation etc . Clearly Native Access was looking at the top folder v:\vst3 64 only and could not list both versions so took the first one. Once I had directed Native Access to specifically look for Kontakt in the sub folder v:\vst3 64\Native Instruments where version 6.2.2 is installed all was well.

My DAW software can see both Kontakt versions and have no issues but clearly Native Access is more choosy and fussy or plain like STUPID.
