    Hello,

I saw the subject was more or less cover in different post. But I struggle to find a final and clear answer.

I want to play different instrument loaded in Komplete Kontrol Standalone from different key range on my S61 MK1 keyboard. Basically midi split key...

How can I do that? I'm able to use the Native Instrument Controller Editor to define different note range on different channel using the midi mode but then I don't understand how to map this to multiple instrument in Komplete Kontrol in Standalone. Also in midi mode I lose most of the nice feature of the S61.

I bout this keyboard second hand, I have to say it's stupidly complicated when the selling point is integration with Komplete Kontrol... It's certainly simpler on the MK2 apparently.

    Thanks for your help!

    You cant.

KK is designed to handle one instrument at a time. You need a DAW to do what you wish.

Nope, they are the same thing basically. Anything you first plug in may seem complicated at first when your understanding of things is low, this is why it is required to learn and build knowledge to help things seem less complicated and stupid. Take the time to learn what you have bought (sometimes I find it is better to start learning about something Before you lay down money). It's a good keyboard and can do a lot of useful things especially considering browsing of sounds and instantly being able to start controlling them.

If you are into production at all it can save a heap of time tho it appeals in usefulness more to those of us that have been around a few decades and know the struggles of using software and hardware on much older systems.
