Hello, I'm a relative amateur at the intricacies of Midi but wanted to check out something I have discovered. I'm using Logic Pro latest version and Big Sur. I load an instance of Komplete Kontrol in a track and load an NKS compatible instrument - in this case a Piano (sonic couture Hammersmith Grand). I switch on the Keyboard Scale Mode using Mapped and record a scale - all well so far. I look in the Logic Piano Roll and each note I have played is there. I create a duplicate track. I then switch on Chord Harmoniser with say 1-3-5. I play the same notes. What I hear is the correct harmonisation - BUT - when I look at the midi track in the Piano Roll only the "root" notes are recorded. Is this correct and of so, is there something I can do to ensure that the midi track has all the notes recorded in it? I assume that, apart from bouncing the track to audio there is some way of making the Harmonisation, or Chord that Komplete produces "record and be permanent in the midi track.

    Thanks for your help.

This is normal behavior, it only records the notes you play not the ones you hear if using chord mode for example. You can create a midi track and set komplete kontrol as input that way it records all notes, but I'm not sure if this works in logic, au plugins have no midi out.

Thanks for the confirmation that that is normal Uwe. I will try your suggestion of an additional Midi track with KK as input.

    Thanks for your help
