komplete sale thread

In case you've missed it, NI is selling komplete at a rediculously low price for maschine users. I'm thinking about picking it up just for the sounds alone as i'm not too great of a synth programmer. i mainly use the reaktor ensembles that came with maschine for sampling sounds and cant wait to get access to the user library... but i dont see myself using anything else all that much... but the deal they're having right now cant be beat so i'll be getting it to get access to the user library.

I've read reviews and everyone says its great but what i'm looking for is to see how YOU GUYS are using it with maschine. how does komplete integrate into your setup/workflow?

 

i am getting it but is this limited to the online store, i read somewhere that it was available at participating dealers but my local deals isn't offering it yet (they are doing the machine reduction)
maybe it hasn't started in the dealers yert as today is the first day of the sale

 

you get the same thing whether you order online or buy in person right? or is there something extra you can get when you buy it in store?

 

So if I bought Maschine with Komplete Essentials I am currently eligible for the upgrade promotion to full Komplete 8? I assume I can get it in box form from a local dealer as it would probably take 3 days to download Komplete 8 suite.

 

if there is a problem you can return it to the dealer instead of sending it back to NI

 

Yeah I got my answers, essentially I'd like to get it from my local dealer but they haven't received word about the promo yet.

 

if you have the full machine (not mikro i don't believe correct me if I'm wrong) you don't qualify for the upgrade you qualify for the cross grade.
it is not downloadable it is a boxed item sent via free post.

So you can currently pick up Big Maschine and K8 Ultimate for 800 dollars in total. That is a steal. If I didn't own both I'd be all over it like a pigeon on a chip.

 

+1 - I only own the Maschine, about to be all over the K8 for $200.00. I'm crossing my fingers that Amazon is going to offer this pricing 'cause I have an unused $100 Amazon gift card just staring at me. Then it will be K8 for $100 - damn!

 

As a Maschine user, I jumped on a similar deal to get Komplete 8 a while back. Well worth it. I'm somewhat tempted to now pay the $299 to upgrade to K8 Ultimate...

 

I really want Massive and Traktor's 12 so this is the deal (K8) I've been waiting for since last year. Unfortunatley I'm broke as hell. Maybe I'll borrow some $$ to get this. Then upgrade to Komple 9 Ultimate next year.

You have to login with your NI account to confirm. I too have Maschine (full), so my cross grade price for K8 (non-Ultimate) is $200(!).

Don't think so. There haven't been any x.0 version number increases in the flagship products, plus the only new stuff since Komplete 8 has been the Kontakt libraries Damage and Giant Piano, and the Reaktor ensemble Skanner XT. But who knows?
