After Komplete 8 install, Maschine cannot find most plugins and instruments, it will not load any kontakt instruments.
What is the trick to get this to work.

You should run all plugins in standalone first

Thanks, yes, I have run all in standalone first, I am not new to the NI nonsense. Also, of course I have all the latest updates. Rescaned Maschine libraries like 6 times.

So are the plugins in your vst plugin folder?
    ---
And have you checked & rescanned the plugins in Maschine?

Yes, they are there, and the Mashine browser can see them they just will not load.

I had the same issue. I had to set my Plug-in path to be C:\Program Files\Native Instruments. Once I did that and then select the rescan button everything worked.

@tsweatt21 thanks that seemed to have fixed it.
Now please let me ask an honest question.
Did I miss something in the included documentation during the install?
Was this information included somewhere and I just overlooked it?
    Honestly, did I miss this?
How did you come by this information?
I have only been able to get NI installs working by coming to the forums. It seems rediculous to me, I am not new at this.
    But truly, thank you all.

I didn't find any instructions for this. My logic was as follows: I saw the message --> which led me to the Preference Settings --> Saw that there was no Path defined for Plug-Ins --> I had no clue what to put there...so I took a guess and just added the whole NI directory.

Other then that the install was not that bad...pretty lengthy and I needed to free up some space on my system for all the content.

Well thanks again, it never ceases to amaze me how NI just can't get it together on proper install info.

I'm on Mac, and I'm getting the same "Plug-in not found. Please check the plug-in path in the Maschine preferences and rescan plug-ins." I've done this several times now, the paths all point to my plug-in directories, not really sure what to do about this. This is also after the Komplete 8 update.

I have a mac too, but have not installed in on there yet. I'm thinking you should try addin the entire "Native Instruments" directory under the "Applications" folder. Let us know how this works. I should have it loaded on my Mac in a few days and will try this as well.

I've been going through all my plugins, adding them to a module one by one. So far it appears the problem is exclusively Reaktor related. Reaktor just won't load into Maschine. It would appear that an update from Native is required.

    Had the same issue

But I got an email from tech support to make sure that I was running the 64 bit stand alone application. You can check which version you are running by going to Help->About and it will say on the screen if you are running the 32 or 64 bit mode. The 32 bit version can't find the 64 bit VSTs if those are what you have loaded.
For me the installation had put the 32 bit version as a desktop shortcut. I went in to the Native instruments program files and found the 64 bit application and when running that all the 64 bit VSTs run just fine.
    Hope that helps.

I am on a mac and i am running in 64bit. Maschine does not load anything but ALL the plugins from Komplete 8 are in the browser including the presets. I have set the plugin path and the samples paths. I have tried all the fixes (except the PC fix above which i cannot try) So frustrationg. Anyone have any insight?

figured out for mac - Maschine 1.7 and Komplete 8

I just figured this out for Maschine 1.7 and Komplete 8. I couldn't load anything until i did this. Very frustrating.

On Mac -- you have to put this as your plugin path then everything works, even the new Kontakt libraries. Its not obvious until you think about it and not documented very well.. but i think someone mentioned it above for PC.

    path is....

    Main Hard Drive/
    Library/
    Plugins/
    VST/

take out all your old and expired demo plugins before you do it. they will hang up the scan...like no reason to have Kontakt 2 in there. A bunch of your 3rd party stuff will not work in 64bit mode but Kontakt 5 isnt going to work in 32bit so you have to decide what you want more. Once it works you will flip out! FINALLY!

This fix worked instantly for me

THANK YOU! This is the answer I have been looking for! I did not think to check this at all and it fixed the problem for me! I tried all the other solutions on this thread and none have worked until now.

Guess what? When I installed Maschine on my 64 bit system, by default it installed the 32 bit icon on my desktop. I couldn't find any of my plugins from Komplete 8 and most of the plugins that come with the Maschine software. I eventually went to c:\program files\native instruments\maschine to see what was there, and lo and behold there's the 64 bit icon. I pasted it on my desktop, opened Maschine, re-scanned my plugins and voila!

    Hope this helps...
