Kontakt 1.5.2 very slow on Win XP

    I use Kontakt as a standalone app on my PC (win XP). The 1.5.1 update worked fine. But when I updated everything seems to be loading much slower. ie. multi's, instruments, even starting up the app. It's at least 4 times slower. The actual app seems to be working ok though. Any suggestions?

    Try turning off the the Lock Memory (no swap)
    in the options menu. Some other people
    were having this same problem and apparently this
    sped things up considerably.
