kontakt 1.5.3 freezes after drag & drop

**KONTAKT 1.5.3**

I have just installed 1.5.3, Every time I drag and drop a sample (wav) into the keyzones, Kontakt freezes and needs to be closed down. All other functions work correctly. This happens if I use it in my host sequencer (Cubase) or if I use Kontakt as a stand alone item.

When I go back to version 1.5.2 everything works fine on this version with no problems.

Any one got any suggestions??

ive been kinda gettin a similar problem too recently...
i have 1.5.2 on windows, cubase vst 5.1, but havent tried it to see if the same happens stand alone...
its happened a couple of times.. but mines doesnt freeze straight away.. it freezes whenever i try & play the offending sample..

I seemed to have fixed the problem.

I have uninstalled all versions and re installed them. When installing the updates, I opted not to back up the old files...
Thats the only thing I have done any different..It seems to have worked..

im gonna try turnin of dfd tonite as i saw from a few other posts that it can cause problems
