Kontakt 2 ---> 4, new PC

    Hi,

    I've been using Kontakt 2 a while and will soon be getting a 64 bit Windows 7 PC.

    I've therefore bought the update to Kontakt 4.

    Quick question: How do I go about installing this update when I get the new PC? Do I need to install Kontakt 2 first, and then install the update to 4, or do I simply install Kontakt 4 and get promted to type in my old Kontakt 2 serial number?

    If it's the former, will I have any issues trying to install Kontakt 2 on this new PC?

    This may sound like a dumb question, but I don't want to install K4 on my current PC and I can't find anything about the update installation process anywhere else.

    I believe you should be able to just install Kontakt 4. Do that first. If it doesn't work, then install Kontakt 2.

    (I'm not sure how the mechanism to check that you are an update user works.)
