kontakt 2 : drop-down quickload issue

It's probably me being an idiot and missing something obvious , but I can't seem to load sounds using the dropdown menu in the instrument header or using the "load instrument from list" function . I only get "nothing yet"

I've built and rebuilt the database but nothing helps . I can use the browser without any problems . Also I can't seem to be able to activate the favourite view function .

I never had problems with this in kontakt 1.5 , kompakt or intakt

Am I missing something obvious here ? Anyone else had this problem . Any help much apreciated

I'm on G5 , OSX 10.3.8

 

I seem to be having similar problems. Have you got the multi/instrument edit windows open? I closed those, and everything seemed okay. Since then I've not been able to reproduce the issue.

I've had it open , closed , ... I tried everything really but it still doesn't work .

I have this feeling it's something stupid I'm overlooking but I can't think of anything .

have you "checkmarked" the squares to the left of the folders you wish to be included?

 

In the browser window select 'database' then 'view'. Choose 'instruments quickload' and select the relevent boxes in the browser.

all works fine now ...
