    It's the weekend.

    Hello haoma,

please file a support ticket with your system specs if you could not solve this yet. Dependent on the Logic version you have installed and on what platform you are (IntelMac or PowerPC) this might be a known issue.

I am on an intelcore 2 duo macbook, using Logic pro 8.0.2 and Kontakt 3.0.2.Do i have to copy the component file of Kontakt in some places?I have copied it in Plugins folder in library until now and reboot several times but didnt work.

The plugin has to be located in the following folder:

    MacHD:Library:Audio:plugins:Components

So, this must be on local level, not on user level.

This is usually made by the installer when you install the AU plugin, so I wonder why you copy this from hand.

    Hi electricfiddle,

just make sure that the AU plugin is in the following folder:

    MacHD:Library:Audio:plugins:Components

However, there are other known reasons why Kontakt might not appear. The most frequent one is that someone uses an older version of Logic on an IntelMac computer which then runs in an emulated mode.
