    Hi all,

Okay so I've installed 3 and run the updater so it's at 3.01 and overall it all seems to work fine. I'm on a Mac Dual 2.7 PPC with 6gig of ram running Kontakt rtas in Pro Tools 7.4 HD. Only problem is the cpu usage is higher than version 2. Opening up version 2 Kontakt patches in version 3 uses more cpu than they did in version 2. Stability seems pretty good actually even when enabling dual processor support in tools(it's disabled in kontakt). How are other people with similar setups travelling? Do you notice the extra cpu hit? Is it something that will be addressed or optimized with further updates? It's the only real complaint I have for an otherwise great sampler.

    cheers

    M.

Kontakt 3 is the best and most powerfull sampler in the world.
But i'm verry dissapointed about a thing (maybe) not so important for others. THE INTERFACE. Is less nice, even comparing with Kontakt 2. I mean is the worst interface of all software samplers I know. The eye has no pleasure to watch it. What a pity. Comparing all the Samplers i know, MachFive has the most beautifull interface (its like a jeweel), then came GVI and Halion and the last is Kontakt 2,3. Too bad for it because the interface does not reflect at all the power of Kontakt3. When I look at it I can easily say it is a software for Win95......
Please, make it look like a 2007 piece of software.
The eye pleasure also contribute to the overall pleasure of working in a proffesional studio.
