Kontakt 4 - Drag Sample From Host Feature

I was wondering if NI added this feature yet? Structure for Pro Tools lets you drag your samples from the edit window and the ESX 24 let you do it from Logics arrange. I can't speak for Logic but editing a sample in Pro Tools is light years more advanced and faster then Kontakt. I'm reading the documentation but can't find anything. Anyone?

 

its the big thing thats missing, you cant really edit samples. thats still done externally and dont use the ext sample editor feature, this makes kontakt crash on a mac with logic. but the way samples cut and get saved is really improved from kontakt 3.02 to 3.5.1. drag & drop from the finder works fine here too!

 

I don't think it's possible. Digi can do it because it's one host and one plug-in written by the same people, but Kontakt has to contend with dozens of different hosts. I don't think it will be possible.

Drag and drop from the Finder works, though.

 

Presonus Studio One also can drag and drop from it's browser onto Kontakt and soon it will be able to drag and drop from it's tracks onto Samplers as well..

 

You can also drag and drop from the media browser in Reaper but not from the track

 

This feature really doesn't seem like something that hard to implement. ESX 24 and Structure are good samplers but crap compared to Kontakt. NI has professional programmers at hand and your telling me adding this feature isn't possible? Not cool.
