Kontakt 4 supports larger than 4 G memory?

    can Kontakt 4 load patches which total larger than 4 G memory like Kontakt 3.5? Is there anything we need to setup in option to make it use all the 4G memory that MacBook Pro provides?

    If your MacBook is 64 bit then all you need to do is install K4 64 bit to have access to all your ram i would think.

    But if your MacBook is 32 bit then you might need something else to have access to more memory. VE Pro would do that well I'm pretty sure. I also hear K3.5 have memory server function that could help you.

    I'm on Pc so I'm not sure how to help you but what i told is worth investigating.

    Kontakt 3.5 has memory server while kontakt 4 doesnot have this?

    It must be in K4 if K3.5 has it. I'd be really surprise if it didn't.

    Bump. Is kontakt really 64bit on mac ? I´ve tried to read the manuals, etc so that I could load K4 for 64bit ensemble pro, but no luck. Please, could someone verify this? (32 bit it works fine)
