Solved KONTAKT 5.8.1R43

    My spare PC has 5.6 on it and Im trying to use Native Installer to get 5.8.1R43 which is on my other PC Ive recently updated with Windows10, Omni 2.5, Zebra2 HZ, PianoTeq.
    I cant use Shreddage 3 on this PC it seems until I update to 5.8.1R43.

    Why Native Installershowing I am up to date when I know I need a newer Version?
    Ive reloaded it and restarted it a few times now and not solving the problem.

    would love a direct link to 5.8.1R43 so I can get this spare PC up to date.

    Thanks for answering so quickly.
    I have been downloading, restarting, uninstalling, re installing, no joy.

    Maybe on my other PC I can copy 5.8.1R43 and use it on my spare PC that’s giving me all the trouble.
    I had trouble on the newest build too, but after loading Kontakt as Standalone then opening Native Installer that did the trick. Doesn’t work on this PC where everything hardware wise is exactly matched, drives, fans, ram, mono cpu, even the damn 1U chassis.
    Only thing different is the Spare Im trying to update is Windows 8.1.

    And thanks again, you helped me back when I was using Kontakt 2.0.
    Glad you’re still helping folks.

    Yeah you can just copy the latest version from the other computer to the problematic one. Make sure you do this with the standalone exe as well.

    Figured you’d come to rescue sooner or later.
    I think I deleted the exe but since Native Installer works on that PC I could download it again.

    More than 1 way to skin a Cat.

    Everything is fine.
    Basically cloned a Windows 10 rig to a Windows 8.1, which I prefer as it doesn’t require to be online like Windows 10 prefers.
    But Windows 10 rig works flawlessly, you just need to go online with it so Micro$oft doesn’t feel stiffed.

    This 8.1 rig won’t use Zebra2 HZs update or Omnisphere to 2.5.
    Only Kontakt and Pianoteq are current.

    Just too use to the older versions and prefer staying there.
