    Hi everybody,

before upgrading to K5, my K4 was able to "see" inside K4 libraries all those Tonehammer, BelaDMedia, etc..., etc...fully approved third party libraries, along with images and GUIs. Either Standalone or as Plugin.

Now, K5 does not like all that. No way.

How to force K5 to see what his predecessor did effortlessly?

    Thanks a lot!

Is it the GUI images that are not being displayed?

Yes, the GUI images are not displayed (e.g. Tonehammer Liberis).

Also, my libraries are stored in :E. If I browse, opening in K5 that drive, those 3d party libs are not displayed...which is weird, because I'm pointing exactly that :E drive in which they are stored...

If I go into this drive, outside Kontakt, then into any of those libraries, then into a specific file, clicking on it the message asking for which program etc... appears. I click on K5. That file opens into K5, but without GUI images...

    I hope this is clear.

    Thanks for your help!

After a few attempts, I managed to "see" those libraries and load the files either in standalone or as plugin.

Nevertheless the GUI images are still missing. I mean, a frame is displayed, but without knobs and all that controls previously visible and controllable...

    Thanks for your support!

it may be that the libraries did not use the resource file and have saved associated images in the Kontak 4 directory.

On a PC its in Documents/Native Instruments/Kontakt4/pictures/ .. and then the library name.

To make the images available to K5 you need to copy those directories to the Kontakt 5 directory too.
