Yeah. It is absurd that it should be so difficult to find a kontakt 5. It seems like it is deleted from the surface of the earth haha.

 

I guess you had a look at your NI account / Products & Serials ?

 

It can be downloaded via Native Access.

Kontakt 5 and Kontakt Player 5 are the same download (the same app). The difference is their license mode, which is handled through Native Access. If you own a license to Kontakt 5, it will unlock the additional features. But it's still the same download, so your comment about not wanting to download Kontakt Player 5 doesn't matter.

 

So how do you explain that Kontakt 5 or Player does appear in his Not Installed tab ?

Don't think so

 

I think that's an updater even if it doesn't say "Update".

NA will always only show just the latest version, so K5 (Player) won't ever show up there.


Contact NI support if you need a full installer of K5P.

 

The marked download is more than 400mb, the others, called 'updates' are only ~140mb.
If you really urgently need it, I think I have it somewhere on my Komplete 10 Discs.

I could upload it, but I am not sure, if I violate against any policies with that

 

Hi again. Thanks for all the inputs. Its all helpful.. I have now downloaded and installed kontakt 5 player and updated it to the 5.6.6.
So now how can I get it registered ? It still runs in demomode.

I have payed and registered Kontakt 6 already. I should be able to use the same registration for kontakt 5 right ?

 

It should get to full licence via Native Access according to David. Doesn't that work?

 

it seems like there is already a license number. but as you can see its still running in demo-mode (ref the screenshot).
so maybe it might not have been registered correctly I am not sure.

No, K6 license only works for K6, not for any previous version!
