Hey! I found a soundpack with 808's that I want to purchase. But at the bottom of the webpage it says that it is only working with the "Full Version of Kontakt 5." I have the free/demo that came with Maschine MK2.
But on the other hand, on natives support it says that 3rd party libraries should work with both the free and the full version. So should I buy this 808 pack and try or do someone know before I maybe waste 40 bucks? :D
    It is this one: https://julezjadon.com/collections/kontakt-instruments/products/hot-sauce-the-808-pack-vol-ii

You need to own the full version of Kontakt to use that pack without any limitations. It will work in demo mode in Kontakt Player, for 15 minutes.

It won't work with the player version (or more accurately it will only work as a demo and timeout after a few minutes)

This only applies to 3rd party libraries that are Kontakt player ready, this one isn't, as stated in the page you link:
    "IMPORTANT!

    • Kontakt 5 format
    • You need a FULL version of Kontakt 5 to use this module
    • Not the free Kontakt Player versio"

Okay I understand, thanks for the replies!
So I won't buy that kit, thought that it would be easier to lay down some good basslines with that. So another question then:
I have a hiphop/rnb track in progress that I want a good sub bass melody in the background to. I have some quite punchy kicks on it, but I would want that the kicks punch even though the sub bass is playing at the same time. Should I go with a side-chain compression with a fast attack with the kicks? I have Maschine and Logic Pro X in my arsenal.
