I can't for the life of me find a tutorial on how to skin a slider. According to the KSP reference manual on page 36, it should be possible. My attempt is as follows.

    slider.png
    [IMG]

    slider.txt
    Code:
    Has Alpha Channel: yes
    Number of Animations: 5
    Horizontal Animation: yes
    Vertical Resizable: no
    Horizontal Resizable: no
    Fixed Top: 0
    Fixed Bottom: 0
    Fixed Left: 0
    Fixed Right: 0
And this is how it looks in Kontakt

    Am I missing something obvious?

You need to have one empty line at the end of the TXT file.

It's far from the only strange thing about Kontakt :)

Isn't it much like forgetting to hit enter? The last line also needs a return character. At least that's how I memorize it.

Has this sort of oddity been improved at all in Kontakt 6?

    Nope.

    Exactly this.
