I have recently upgraded to full Kontakt from Kontakt Player. One of my reasons is that I want to import my old Kurzweil libraries and keep using them.

However trying this with Symphony of voices does not work! I have done the following:

    - Insert disk into drive
    - Click 'Ignore' in Mac OS
    - Go to the File browser in Kontakt
    - Click refresh/collapse and expand the tree

There is NO Kurzweil disk shown in the browser - in fact it does not seem to even access the drive to try and read it!

I have tried this with all 4 disks with the same results. Disk Utility can detect the disk.

I note from earlier forum posts that this is supposed to work. Has this feature been removed from version 5? Is there something else I need to do? I have 'show foreign formats' enabled and 'show removable disks' enabled.

I must say I am disappointed.

    Kind regards,
    Wayne

Can you copy the stuff off the disks to your system and import from there? What version of OSX are you running?
    This page: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-5/specifications/
shows the Kurzweil hardware formats K5 supports (K2000/K2VX, K2500* and K2600* where the * is '* Only supported, if patch does not reference any ROM Samples from original keyboard') and Kurzweil disc format. You are talking about optical disks and not floppys right? :)
