I have got a few tracks loaded up with Albion One. Its heavy on the memory, but I've got 16GB installed.
I also have open the Memory resource monitor and I see that there are 10 tracks using 33% of the memory so far.
I try and add "Strings" which is their biggest library and I get the message something like, "memory error, we're about to crash soldier." Something like that.

However, I had been inserting Kontakt 5 player 16out. I switched to the regular Kontakt 5 player and its not giving me those memory errors yet.
Is the 16out grabbing more memory? Is there a way of making Kontakt more efficient so it doesn't crash memory. My resource monitor is showing it at 40% when it crashes, not anywhere near 100%. (I ran a Windows mem check, and its accessing the full 16gb no problem so theres no hardware error).

I ran into memory issues with my 2015 model iMac recently, using LogicPro and Kontact5. I had 16 gigs of RAM. Some of the problem may be documented memory leaks with the OS, Sierra. I upgraded too soon. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about this until after I;d ordered an additional 32 gigs of /ram. Running with 48 gigs certainly solved my problem, but I still don't know the true cause. I suspect 16 gigs is a bit lean for applications making music, though. Good luck.

Actually, I found out my issue: it was using the 16bit version of Kontakt, not the 32bit. I reinstalled and it works fine now.

Awesome! I love when a solution comes together.
