    Hello There,
I've been trying to use the demo instrument included in Creator Tools in order to learn more about the new drag and drop sample feature (ui_mouse_area) but for the life of me I cannot see anything related to this command in the script of the demo library.
Sadly I realized that I simply cannot drag and drop sample from finder to the library. I tried etheral earth too since I've read that one supports drag and drop of samples...as you can see from the attachments when I drag the audio sample into the list menu I am not getting that familiar "+" green button that I was so excited about.
I truly hope this is a user error...but still it's very strange. I cannot for the life of me figuring out why I cannot access this feature. I tried this on my old Mac Pro 2009 and my 2018 Macbook pro since I suspecting this had something to do with AVX Compatible Processor but still no luck.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Where have you read that? It doesn't support it. Straylight does.

Drag and drop is not a single command, it consists of a number of elements, including user zones, and so on. KSP reference has information on all new commands introduced with K6.2, but for real-world usage example you need to go through the whole script for Ambient Escapes demo instrument that comes with Creator Tools.

    Hi EvilDragon,
I've looked at the Ambient Escapes demo instruments script but I cannot locate the ui_mouse_area line...any idea?

All the UI widgets are created through Creator Tools' GUI Designer. Open .nckp file in performance_views folder in it and there you go.

Thank you very much EvilDragon. Almost a year away from your original reply, I'm still trying to implement this. I get that you don't want to spoon feed this info but I would be really curious to know more about the actual steps to I have to take to make this work. I'm fairly new to Creator Tools but pretty good with KSP overall. Help me big Dragon!!!

btw. there's also a new factory script "single sample drop" - could be helpful to get a general idea how it works.

    Hi

Just wondering as I've started to use the Single Sample Drop Coding from Kontakt, there's not many tutorials on it

Can you add two Drop Panels to one tab but for both to work at the same time or have the option to change the volume of each panel? and can you change the size of the panels?

    Thanks

Both things you ask for are possible.

    Nice

Other than the KSP ref manual is there any learning tutorials or learning references on the single drop coding that you know about?
I know this is backwards but I don't understand the Manual but when I learn through tutorials it starts to make the manual make a little more sense lol.
    Thanks

    Cal
