Solved Kontakt 6 Factory Library Oboe

I'm getting really strange sounds from the Kontakt 6 Factory Library Oboe - it sounds like a cheap organ being played at the end of a long tunnel. It's certainly not an oboe - and it's playing sounds outside its allotted keyboard range. Same behaviour in standalone as it is when loaded as a VST in Cubase.

The file hasn't changed, it got the same date as all the other files.

A rogue file?

 

Hmmm, it seems fine over here? It just has a longish reverb on it, which you can turn down with the Amount knob if you want. It doesn't seem to play outside of its range as denoted by blue keys on the virtual keyboard...

 

Thanks ED - appreciated. Is there a possibility I've corrupted the file somehow - or maybe settings if the file doesn't appear to have been overwritten and if so, how can I go about resetting it?

 

(Solved) The Instrument controls and articulation settings had been changed and were all over the place. No idea how that happened.
