    Windows 10, 64 bit. I use a DAW, Overture 5 by Sonic Scores (sonicscores.com).

I have gotten the Kontak 6 upgrade and the Kontakt 6 library upgrade ($99).
But the only Kontakt 6 editor that I have is the Kontakt.exe program with the
Black/WHite icon on the desktop. The old dll's are still in place in the
    'C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit' directory.

I can edit the Mallet Flux library and two of the other new libs in the exe
program, but from my DAW, with the old dll's I get 'Your version of Kontakt
is too old to open this file...'.

Is NI going to supply the Kontakt 6 version of the dll(s) so that I can use my
    new libraries inside the DAW?

Open Native Access. Click on Kontakt. In upper right edge second tab is your path shown

In addition to Paule's post above about checking the install paths in Native Access:

Since you mentioned Kontakt 6 'upgrade', two things to keep in mind in general:
    • Kontakt 6 is installed side-by-side to Kontakt 5. So make sure to load the Kontakt 6 plugin version in your DAW, if you want to use this one.
    • Since Kontakt 6 there's now only a single (64-output) Kontakt.dll plugin file ** (without a version number in the filename)

** in comparison to the three different Kontakt 5 .dll plugin files for the 8-, 16- and 64-outputs version
