It may look strange, but I also hope this function. I wish Kontakt could load audio files and process them.

I sometimes make a new instrument and map wave files which were exported by Cubase into it, and send a very long midi note with CC64 from Cubase to Kontakt2 in order to add effects to the wave files. I don't have any high-quality convolution plug-in without that of Kontakt2, so I want to use Kontakt's effectors as plug-ins easily.

In this case, Kontakt will become not only a sampler but also a valuable comprehensive audio processor.

The same here. I very much like Kontakt's convolution, but prefer not to use the trick with the long notes since I want to use it as a send effect (less cpu-consuming, clearer mixes etc..)

I second this notion. And promise that NI will get a case of
Pabst Blue Ribbon on thier front door, should this day ever come!

Any statements from a NI developer?

Others products have that too, Pro 53, FM8, B4 II (even so it's a pain that you cannot turn off the Leslie and use only the tube) and of course Reaktor.

Actually all that is needed is an external input, so you can apply effects to the input instead of the sample playback.

Everybody who agrees please post, even if it's just a 'i agree'.

    greets

I agree - I really like Kontakt's reverb algorithm; it's better than several other plugins I've tried. Convolution would be even better.

Agree. Should have happened already for K3 if you ask me.

    +1

I'm thinking about the surround filters as doppler fx etc.
    Would be awsome!

    Cheers,
    Ola

I prefer Kontakts convolution reverb to Waves and TC.

Would be an excellent feature to make Kontakt 3 an even more essential purchase.
