Kontakt disconnect Key Command in Logic

    Each time I open Kontakt (plug-in version) in Logic or call a screenset with a kontakt window, key commands don't respond anymore...
    I have to select a logic window (mixer, arrange...) in order to make them work again. It is very frustrating and a real flow killer :eek:(

    Am I the only one? Is there a solution?

    Sorry for the "Me too!!!" post but you're not the only one korosif.
    As I have a dual monitor setup I have changed my screen set/s to limit my need to change when editing Kontakt, but this doesn't really solve the problem (basic transport functions). I might have a play with midi remote as a work around. Does anyone know if this issue affects Logic Control?

    How come this bug hasn't been fixed for over a year? It definately is a real flow-killer.

    There is a option under options for "Logic Keyboard workaround".

    I don't know if it solves your problem, but have you tried it?

    Guess you mean the Delete/Backspace button problem, that works as it should :)

    What I mean is the window focus: Let's say you have the arrangement on Screenset 1 and Kontakt on 2. If you switch with the keyboard to screenset 2, you can't switch back to 1 without having to mouse-click somewhere to unfocus the Kontakt-window.

    Sorry, then I can't help you.

    By the way, thanks for pointing out what the "Logic keyboard workaround" button does. I thought it did something like that, but for me in OS 9.2 with Logic 6.1 it doesnt matter if this option is on or off: Pressing backspace deletes whatever has focus in Logic, not Kontakt.

    I can only confirm that keyboard functions and Kontakt as a VST in Logic definately does not work very well.

    I'm in Logic 6.0 on OS9 and I have the "Keyboard Workaround for Emagic Logic" selected..but when I select and delete a sample module in Kontakt the audio object in Logic, gets removed deleted as well.. Is this normal?
