    Hello. All composers!

I'm using Symphony Essentials Brass Ensemble which is included in Komplete Ultimate version. But I don't know how to create automation for "Dynamics" feature.

When you open Brass Ensemble, in main window, there are some elements you could see:

4 elements are in bottom line - Attack, Release, Tightness, Motion. [I have no idea what last two elements are...]
and in the center, there is big circle nob called "Dynamics"

I like the different sounds when I move Dynamics nobs using my mouse. It's kind of very Hans Zimmer brass sound.
But when I open automation tool, and I selected smart control, I could find only those 4 elements: Attack Release Tightness Motion , but anywhere I can't find option for "Dynamics"

I wanna create Horn sound as different color from p -> mf > ff just as when I move "Dynamics" using my Mouse, but I want to know how to create Automation.

The other question is when I searched Automation tool, I found:

    Smart Control >
    Main >
    1 Kontakt5 >
    Display off >
    Volume >
    Pan >

    and when I choose 1 Kontakt 5, there are so many numbers ( #30 #40 #50 #60 etc)

Can someone tell me what is these?

I'm a beginner of MIDI, so these kinds of questions are very basic for you guys. But I'm studying by myself, so even small advises will really helpful to me *^^*

I think by default it's MIDI CC #1 for Dynamics (modwheel).

    Thank you.
And I also have a question. When I used expression tool in piano roll, exs24 which is in Logic X was working but NI Symphony Essntial was not response.

I want to use a expression tool in order to make a flexible cresc, decresc.

    Please let me know.
    Thank you Always!!

Not all libraries use the same system for dynamics. Perhaps there's an option in Symphony Essentials to change that, so please read the manual for the library to learn if it's possible to change it. If not, just use modwheel instead of expression, it's simple enough of a change in piano roll.

In logic X I would click view> midi draw> modulation. Then I draw in modulation and get the dynamics I think you're looking for. Automation has to be turned off to use this feature. Then turn on automation and play with volume. Between volume and modulation(expression/dynamics) I seem to achieve the desired effect.
