    Hey all,

I find that KONTAKT is doing everything I would like it to apart from TWO pretty major things:

Now that the workplace Kontakt Libraries have grown exponentially, it'd be great if:
    1. I could create library set presets that I could recall when needed. For example: a Sound Design preset that would include any libraries I use for sound design. Or an Orchestral preset that has only orchestral libraries. Or to take it a bit further a Spitfire library preset that includes only Spitfire libraries, or Cinesamples, or 8Dio, or whatever combination I choose. It could be per project, or per song, per episode season when working on TV, per promo campaign, etc. Then I could instantiate a Kontakt VI within my DAW - or Vienna Ensemble Pro per library preset and everything would make much more sense, it'd be quicker to the eye and so on.
    2. As a side note to 1, these presets could potentially be shareable when working in a collaborative project - but only have the actual sounds accessible if every collaborator owns every library used, but at least they could see what was instantiated even if not. This can be especially handy when a project passes on to a new composer (not because the original composer was fired - of course :p - but because he/ she went on to work on something else :D). This could open another revenue stream for NI as composers or musicians might be sharing their library sets with other musicians in the world, possibly for a small fee.;)
    3. To be able to re-arrange the libraries without the tedious drag on the library pane. I think somebody made a script to do this on Windows but I'm on OS X. The tickbox selection on KONTAKT 6 is a step towards the right direction but very early days when it comes to better library management
I am not hanging about this forum that much so, sincere apologies if these requests have been recommended before.

    Peace and creativity all!

You could sort your libraries however you want in Quickload, so that should cover point #1.

Could but it is not the same. I'd much rather use the Quickload of subsets per project.

Still the navigation to put things to Quickload is tedious (200+ libraries at the workplace).

Don't think music production here but TV series, seasons, episodes, promo campaigns and so on instead.

And quite a few people can be collaborating for fast turnarounds, 24/7.

I am using Quickload, VEP templates and .nkm's to share. Not as intuitive IMO - or they way I'd see the structure of projects.

Pro Tools has added a nice feature in a recent update when selecting plugins: if one has a big list of plugin effects you can start typing the name and it auto-completes it. That would be great for Kontakt libraries as well. I'd love the same feature in Quickload as well - very handy if there is a multitude of folders sub-folders.
