Kontakt Freezing in VE Pro

Hi,

I'm trying to build a template (for the second time) in VE Pro using the Kontakt 6 plugin and Project Sam Swing samples. I've currently got 6 instances of the Kontakt plugin loaded with further instruments loaded as VE Pro channels underneath each plugin instance. After creating the 7th instance, I tried to drag the instruments into main window and now the Progress window shows Loading... - but everything is frozen. Nothing is loading and I can't cancel in the Progress Window.

The reason for posting this now is that this fault happened again and again yesterday while trying to build the same template for the first time. My only solution was to Force VEPro to quit, load what I'd saved so far and carry on. I eventually got to the end but when connecting the template back into Cubase the 12th instance of a Kontakt plugin only had intermittent sound and the remaining 4 plug in instances had no sound at all. I don't know if that last fault is a result of the first one but something is obviously wrong.

I'm not sure whether the problem is VEPro, Project Sam, or Kontakt but I'm starting with the latter as the fault occurs within the Kontakt plugin samples loading Progress window. I'm running OSX 10.13.6 on a 6-core MacPro with 64 GB of RAM and Kontakt 6.0.3.

I'd appreciate any help sorting this out - I pretty much lost a day yesterday!

Yes, precisely the same fault occurred with Spitfire at the same stage - 6 plugins loaded successfully, 7th plugin freezing at loading.

I'm going to try the original template with Kontakt 5 and see if that makes any difference..

I can make the Template using the Kontakt 5 16 channel plug-in - everything has loaded up correctly. - but if I try using the Kontakt 6.0.3 plug in the fault I've described above occurs sooner or later.

Any suggestions as to how I can refer this on to the NI development team?
