I am running running Big Sur 11.4. I have Komplete 13 collectors edition. Everything is updated. My libraries are on a USB-C pocket drive. Many of the libraries load and play, but many don't. The guitar libraries take 5 minutes or more to load. Straylight and Modular Icons appear to have loaded, but do not play. Any advice to get Kontakt working properly would be appreciated.

Is the pocket drive formatted as ExFAT?

I formatted the drive ExFAT and that allowed some of the libraries to load and run, but I've just restarted and it's taking about 3-5 minutes to load a library like Lo-Fi Glow...

No, ExFAT is not a good choice for Kontakt (which is why I asked you if it were formatted like that - Kontakt does NOT like ExFAT!).

well, I was OS Journaled and it didn't like that at all.. it's working better with ExFAT, but not well. What IS the format that works best for the drives???

It should be fine with macOS Journaled or APFS, but this points to other potential problems.

What's the exact pocket drive model?

OK so it's not an SSD but a rather slow 5400 RPM regular hard drive. That explains it.

If you want faster loading times, you will need an SSD.

Somewhat disappointing as everything else loads very quickly, with this exception.

Different instruments will load at different speeds based on how complex they are and how many samples they have. SSDs for the most part don't care about this, but old HDDs do care. They're much slower.
