    Hi all
I thought I'b be able to drag and drop instruments from the library pane into the main window but I'm having to drop everything into the Quick Load menu at the bottom of the screen first, then double click them to load. Is this the way it works or am I getting this wrong somewhere?

    Many thanks
    Sam

You can definitely drag and drop instruments from the library pane directly, no need to have them in the quick load first...

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought but nothing loads when i do that. I've tried with Session Strings Pro and a few factory instruments using a new instrument. Perhaps the instruments i'm dragging aren't multis but I seem to be only getting the option to create a new multi.

Did you do the following steps?

    (1) Click on the [Instruments]-button (of Session Strings Pro) in the Libraries pane
    (2) Double-click or drag and drop the .nki-file you want to load

Yes that's exactly what I did. I'm assuming it won't make a different if my Logic projects are on an external HD, with Logic and Komplete on the main drive?

    Yeah, that doesn't matter.

    It's simple:

Yeah I thought it would be simple but it's just not working for me :(

Can you record how you're doing it?

    Hi
Sorry I couldn't get back earlier. All resolved now, I was trying to load a folder rather than a file.
    Thanks guys
