Kontakt-Player2

Hi,

Kontakt-Player2 with the library "The Trumpet" and "Mr. Sax T" leads to a crash in Cubase with "Runtime error" in Cubase.exe

Any Suggestions?
I used the player before, using GPO, GJPP, Stradivari adn Gofriller without any problems.

Have you run the libraries in standalone? If not, do so and rescan your plugins with Cubase.

When does the crash occur? When just loading any patch from those libraries? But not if you load patches from GPO/GJBB/Stradivari?

thanks for the answers.

First I deinstalled Sax and Trumpet, but still KontaktPlayer leaded to a crash. Then I renamed the KontaktPlayer.dll, so I could load my projects in Cubase. In this projects I removed the Player (that was not found) in the instrument rack.

In the next step I renamed the player back to KontaktPlayer.dll, loaded the projects again and put the player back into the instument rack. No crash.

Then I installed Sax and Trumpet again and followed the tip from ew to run the libraries in standalone. After that I was able to load the libraries in Cubase, to save and reload the projects without a crash.

At this moment it seems to work, although I don't know the reason why this happened.

Why? Because the plugin refers to the standalone. If the standalone hasn't been run at least once, the plugin won't initialize correctly.
