Hi Dallon,

No, the free and Exclusive Instruments (free with purchase) require a full version of Kontakt I’m afraid.

We don’t offer demos of our Kontakt Player instruments afraid, so you can’t really try before you buy in that sense - please do check out the audio demos as much as you can!

Yes, that’s right. Historically it has not been possible for any developer to offer free content for kontakt Player due to NI’s licence fees.

However, that is all about to change, due to much more favourable pricing for free content, and we are rolling out Kontakt player versions of ALL our free content over the next few weeks.

Wow! That's good news from Soniccouture..and by extension.. I think NI

 

Two days ago, I registered DrumMic'a in Native Access and in my NI account. The Kontakt 6 (full version) Crossgrade pricing still states it does not qualify. I'll be eternally grateful for any help on this.

 

i think they have changed it. at the time i made this, it was the case. i will attempt to reconfirm this when i get home

I wonder if the third-party library list for Kontakt Player is the resource to check to see if a library qualifies?

 

It will not surprise me if this free plugin does not meet the rules for a crossgrade.
I think Komplete 6 for a dump price is canceled.
