KONTAKT QUESTION

    I have had Kontakt 5 since the inception of that version. i just got Komplete 10. It was installing yesterday but I stopped it mid-stream when I saw something about Kontakt instruments installing. I thought it wouldn't touch Kontakt. After a clean wipe and a reboot, I went back to Pro Tools and the Kontakt instruments couldn't be found nor could a few of the others that Kontakt plays. For now, I am going to leave Komplete alone because I have projects this week. How do I get the Kontakt 5 instruments back? (Windows 7/64; Pro tools 11.3)

    Run Komplete installer again and tick only the instruments that you have missing to install them again.

    When I started the first install of Komplete, it automatically X'd out Kontakt. So, when I saw it doing something with Kontakt instruments, I stopped the Komplete installation. For now, I want to forget about Komplete. How do I get my Kontakt instruments back?

    You already got the answer. You shouldn't have stopped the installer.
