Kontakt: right side of screen "missing" (cut off)

Anyone ever get this and know how to fix? Basically the right half of the plugin window is transparent (see screenshot) and whatever plugin I try only shows the left half; the right side is "cut out." No idea why this is as when I first bought and installed Kontakt, this wasn't a thing. I'm about 99% sure this is not some display/resolution issue, again it worked before and when I tried diff display settings, it didn't change anything. I first noticed this when I installed Red Room's Palette, but I've uninstalled it and really I don't see how that could have done this, esp since I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Kontakt but it didn't change anything.

The weird thing is this does not happen in standalone mode, only within my DAW...but in standalone mode, nothing makes any sound.

Also I don't know if this is related, but Kontakt now takes forever to load within my DAW, which didn't used to be. Also it says "Kontakt (VST3)" now when I'm pretty sure it used to just say "Kontakt." Maybe a VST3 thing?

 

If your DAW does not support VST3 you need to load rhe vst2 version.

 

What's the DAW?

 

Mixcraft. Yes, it supports VST3. And really, is there any DAW today that doesn't support VST3? Besides PT that is

And tried renaming Kontakt.vst3 to Kontakt.bak, but now Kontakt doesn't show up at all.
