Kontakt sequencer won't stop after MIDI region ends

OK I see what's happening there, but unfortunately I cannot confirm that happening over here with either library, in Live 11.0.6...

 

Interesting. Now, I have tested this on 2 machines and it does it on both. Very frustrating! Could it be a problem with Live? I could send them a support request but I have a feeling they'll tell me to contact NI. Oh good I'm glad the video wasn't too bad! Appreciate your help my friend.

 

Which version of Live are you running? Also, which EXACT version of Kontakt? Click the KONTAKT logo in top left, and the about screen shows with version number in top left corner.

 

So I'm using Live Suite Version 11.0.10
and Kontakt Version 6.6.0 (R133), and the VST3 plugin

 

6.6.1 is the latest Kontakt 6 version, can you try updating to it?

It also seems that Live 11.0.10 added some other issues too (see Massive X black screen issue)... Do you have any other DAW to test?

 

I updated Kontakt to 6.6.1. Strange that the update wasn't showing up in the Native Access update menu. I had to reinstall Kontakt to get the update. Either way, it failed to solve the issue. I don't have any other DAWs to test unfortunately, no. I could look for a free one somewhere and try that. Yes, I've noticed a few strange things in the latest Live update, 11.0.10. One thing I noticed is it is a little bit laggy upon first opening Live, which it never was before so that's odd. Anyway, this is such an annoying bug, making it very difficult to work and finish anything quickly. Either way, really appreciate your help my friend.

 

You could try to download Reaper and check out if the same thing happens there or not. It's free to demo for 60 days and a pretty small download.

Also having this issue on Nucleus Orchestral Core Lite Edition
Using latest version of FL studio as of today.

The E4 key is the note that continues after playback. I decided to restart my project and start with strings and used the piano roll instead of an actual midi controller/piano in case that was the issue. Unfortunately the issue is still present. Upon typing this I had the genius idea of simply removing that note and so far so good. However having that E4 in there is important to the sound I'm trying to create so I thought "I'll just put it up an octave.". But I realized I can't because during this note sequence I have D#5 transitioning into E5 then back to D#5 and E5 again.

I wonder if since I'm using the same note but different octave during this sequence might be somehow related to this bug? I'm gonna play around with it more and give an update to see if I notice anything else.

Also, excuse my lack of proper music terminology. I am self taught

 

OK that's a 3rd party library, so you should contact the developer of that library. I am only in charge of NI's Play Series around here.

 

Hey all, if you've been following this thread and have read my previous posts, I just wanted to follow up with an update on this. Ableton has finally found the bug that is causing this issue, and the fix has been released in the Live 11.1 Beta version. I've tested this and it seems to be resolved. So if anyone else is experience this issue, one possible fix would be to join the beta testing program through Ableton, (if you own Live 11) and check that out. Thanks guys for all your help! I have also contacted NI to let them know that the issue is on Ableton's side and not NI's. Thanks again
