The arps wasn't the worst idea, I can imagine people need them when they haven't learned to compose them, to learn how other people do it. And you don't need to be a good keyboard player to compose great orchestral music.

The real problem is that there's a Kontakt user who thinks a pcm synthesizer can beat a real sampler and that Kontakt would get better with less samples and automatically played orchestral music.

Who do you think you are ?. Jean Michel Jarre ?. You don;t need arps ? You are the perfect millionaire composer >>, pathetic ! poor man
nope you're not right . I'm just saying Kontakt factory library is just a toy compared to Motif internal wave rom. Now ! If you have dedicated professional libraries for Kontakt like VST strings, Ocan wAY DRUMS..etc in this situation Motif become the toy compared to Kontakt ...

That-s why i use dedicated libraries ))) Butt I just need ARPs inside Kontakt . Maybe NI will find A solution ..

Yes the Kontakt factory library is a toy compared to Motif XS 350mb of samples.. When you pay 3000EUR for Motif practically you pay all those money for the ARP& articulations technology .And Motif means Arps and fast working .

I hear many HITs songs made with Motif XS and no one complains .. mANY HITS ARE MADE WITH mOTIFS ... a few are made with kontakt . So shut up you doint know nothiong

You could really fix your attitude a bit, man. The world does not spin around you. Nor around Motifs. Nor around its arps.

If you need a synth workstation it's one of the best though. I have a Fantom XR myself to hook up to my Doepfer live because it has a 512MB sampler, the Motif rack doesn't. But aren't the Fantom, Motif, M3 etc tools for stage and r&b production? If you look at the list of famous users on vintagesynth you don't see anyone using orchestra simulation (nor any Hollywood composers).

Daisuke Asakura, Infected Mushroom, Oliver Palotai from Kamelot, Michael Pinnella from Symphony X, Hip Hop/R&B producer K.O.B.R.A. of The Association and Audio Assassins, Paul Wickens from Paul McCartney's band, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, John Legend, Aryan Nazari, Alicia Keys' band, Elton John, Robert Lamm and Bill Champlin from Chicago, Green Day, Ray Charles, Chick Corea, Die Sektor, Michael McDonald, Clemo of Calif Records, Kenya, Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey's band, David Bowie's band, Justin Timberlake, Barry Manilow, Gary Numan, Beyonc's band, Lonestar, Brian Wilson, Scott Storch, Tim Freedman, Pink's band, and Nick Carter.

I've got some of the Motif / Yamaha sounds as part of the HALion 4 sound set, which is a ~16 GB library, including their Orchestral and other add-on libraries.
It's a good compact library to have on my laptop, and works well with Cubase.

And there are times when it's nice to have that 'Yamaha' keyboard sound.

However, it' doesn't really compare to VSL (or similar), for orchestral emulations, but then I don't think it's really trying to either.
