Kontakt Tuning/Transposition Error

    My Kontakt 3 patches are changing tuning and transposition randomlly. Usually minus 167 cents or thereabouts. It also happens on my Trilogy wrapper in Ableton so it's not just a Kontakt issue.

    Any suggestions on the cause?

    My first guess? Dust in your pitchbend wheel, so it's not completely returning to 0 all the time. Try hooking up your keyboard to a MIDI monitor of some form and see what pitchbend info's being sent...

    Will check that. It's a new Yamaha S90 though. My ram is low - think it could be a ram issue?

    Culprit turned out to be an error in Ableton Live. I upgraded to the current version and the problem has not shown up since.
