Kontakt update not appearing in Cubase?

So I just updated Kontakt to use Session Horns Pro and if I open Kontakt on it's own, it's up to date... But when I open Cubase, it opens an older version of Kontakt and I can't use my new software... what the heck is this all about? You'd think an update in the service center would update across the board and not just when opening Kontakt on it's own...

So how do I get Cubase to recognize the new version? Thanks in advance.

I believe the versions don't match (plugin and standalone)...
Run the update again and be sure the .dll file is updated along with the standalone version.

 

I'm having a similar problem with Reaper. I just got Komplete 10 Ultimate and installed it. Now some of the synths say in Reaper that my Kontakt is outdated. So I tried to update the Kontakt file and it says that I will be downgrading because there is a newer version being used. Yet if I use it as standalone its fine it's just when I'm using reaper that this happens and not for every synth.Someone help please.

 

So here's what I did. i ran the setup for the update for Kontakt. Even though I new I was downgrading. After I installed it. i then ran update for Kontakt in the service center. I'm not sure if this fixed my issue, but I will find out real quick. See my son was the original installer of Kontakt, So I'm not sure where he put it. I couldn't find it in my plugins folder.

 

It didn't work back to square 1.

 

I fixed it. Apparently when my son installed Kontakt 5 he put it somewhere i can't find. So when I installed Komplete it put the dll. file within the Native Instruments file for plugins. So I had to copy all the dll. files for Kontakt and place them in the Reaper plugins folder. Now everything is working properly. Best part is....I figured it out without any help. WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!
